myfootcaresupplies.com is a specialist podiatry and chiropody supplies website run by medical supplies wholesaler C&P Medical Trading Ltd.
Who we are
C&P Medical was set up in Sept. 1998 by two brothers, Chris and Peter Shaw ('C&P') to buy and sell disposable medical products. Peter came to the business with a background in financial trading, bringing both funds and financial knowledge to the company. Chris came to the business with experience in pharmaceutical sales. In January 2004 he left the company to pursue other interests.
Peter's wife, Julia joined the company as a Director in 2000. Julia has a background in Human Resources Management and has worked for Ford, Cadbury Schweppes and Lloyds of London. Julia has a Masters degree in Human Resources Management and is a Chartered Graduate of the Institute of Personnel and Development.
Sales Director Matt Paton joined the company in 2003. Matt worked for 7 years in Sales for Stena Line and then moved to Kent Pharmaceuticals for 8 years where he was Telesales Manager, Key Account Manager (South) and PI Purchasing Manager.
Where we are
The Shaw brothers initially worked from an old farm building in Surrey and used a former grain storage building as a warehouse. In Sept. 2000, C&P Medical moved to a larger premises in Blandford Forum, Dorset and then again in Sept. 2002 to a unit on the Bowerhill Estate in Melksham. In 2005, the company bought 3 units on the Bowerhill Estate giving them 20,000 sq. ft. of warehouse and office space.
Awards and Accolades
Managing Director, Peter Shaw has been nominated for Young Businessperson of the Year Award with the Bath Chronicle in 2003 and 2004 and won Entrepreneur of the Year in February 2005 with the Wiltshire Business Awards.
Our Products
C&P Medical Trading Ltd buys and sells branded disposable medical products; these include bandages, medical wipes, centre feed rolls, couch rolls, needles, syringes, IV & urinary catheters, tapes, surgical dressings, swabs, paper hand towels, medical furniture, incontinence products, disinfectants, ointments, vinyl, surgical & latex gloves and nutritional drinks. myfootcaresupplies.com is an online shop specialising in disposable supplies for the podiatry and chiropody markets.
